How to replace the blower motor resistor on Chevrolet Colorado?

You need to disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector and remove its mounting screws to take out the blower motor resistor. Simply put the new blower motor resistor into its proper position and fasten it using mounting screws as detailed in the Fastener Notice of Service Precautions. Tighten each screw to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in). Insert the electric connector back onto the blower motor resistor.
