The first procedure requires you to remove both the mounting nut and bolt which attach the spring shackle to the Leaf Spring then proceed with removing the mounting nut and bolt which attach the spring shackle to the frame bracket. Replace the spring shackle by installing it onto the Leaf Spring along with the frame bracket then secure it with mounting nut and bolt without applying torque. The spring shackle installation requires you to use the mounting nut and bolt to connect it to the Leaf Spring . Perform this operation according to the fastener notice in service precautions while tightening the nuts to 90 nm (66 ft. Lbs.). The last procedure is to take off the rear axle support before lowering the vehicle.
