Start by removing the sway bar link bolt nut before proceeding to uninstall both of these sway bar link bolt bolts and after that take off the sway bar link insulators and spacers. You should inspect the entire part for wear indications along with damage points. Reinstall the sway bar link insulators and spacers as the first step before starting installation. Before bolting the sway bar link a proper cleaning of the original adhesive patches must be done and GM P/N 12345382 Threadlocker or BLUE LOCTITE(TM) #242 should be applied to the bolts' threads. To install the sway bar link bolts follow up with installing the sway bar nut to the link bolt until it achieves a torque reading of 11 Nm (97 lb in). Complete the operation by removing safety stands while lowering the vehicle down.
