How to Service and Repair the Brake Backing Plate on the Rear Axle on Chevrolet K3500?

Stand the vehicle on a hoist and remove the Axle Shaft. Then, separate the brake pipe from the Wheel Cylinder and get rid of the brake elements from the backing plate. Release the bolts and washers from the axle and after that, disconnect the Brake Backing Plate. Start installation by putting the Brake Backing Plate against the axle and fastening it with the bolts and washer. Reconnect the brake parts to the Brake Backing Plate and join the brake pipe to the Wheel Cylinder next. Last, install the Axle Shaft and put on the wheel, tire and Brake Drum.
