Lift the car on a hoist and take out the shaft of the axle. Disconnect the brake pipe to the wheel cylinder and remove the brake parts. Removal and replacement of brake backing plate on the axle and then fixing the new backing plate. Re-fit the parts of the brakes, attach the brake pipe, and show the axle shaft back to its place.
