How should the cruise control module be serviced and installed on Chevrolet Lumina?

The service of the cruise control module located at the left strut tower must be performed in a single unit. First, take off the cruise control cable and the electrical wire end from the cruise control module then remove the mounting nuts. After removing, remove the cruise control module from the vehicle. For installation, install the cruise control module to the mounting studs on the shock tower, following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Fasten the module tightly by turning the mounting nuts back to 2 N.m (18 lb in) and reconnect the electrical connector along with the cruise control cable. Finally fine-tune the cruise control cable.
