  • Q: How to replace the ignition coil on Chevrolet Metro?
A: A replacement process begins by removing the Spark Plug wire from the defective Ignition Coil followed by disconnecting its electrical connector. Remove the 2 bolts securing the #1 Ignition Coil or the #2 Ignition Coil to the valve cover, and take out the Ignition Coil from the valve cover. Next, disconnect the #1 Spark Plug wire or the #2 Spark Plug wire from the Ignition Coil . For installation, connect the #1 Spark Plug wire or the #2 Spark Plug wire to the Ignition Coil , then position the #1 Ignition Coil or the #2 Ignition Coil back onto the valve cover. Reconnect the electric connector to the Ignition Coil while also resuming the Spark Plug wire installation to the Spark Plug.
