    A: Before starting the replacement process it is necessary to remove the Fuel Tank from the vehicle. Begin by detaching the electrical connector of the Fuel Level Sensor before you disconnect the clamp and the fuel vapor hose from the fuel vapor pipe on the assembly. The fuel return line and fuel feed lines attached to the Fuel Level Sensor must be detached using quick-connect tools. Completion of the Fuel Level Sensor replacement requires unscrewing the 6 fasteners securing it to the Fuel Tank and extracting the assembly. Install the new gasket onto the Fuel Level Sensor before mounting it onto the Fuel Tank by tightening 6 bolts to 10 n.m (89 lb in torque). Secure the fuel vapor hose by attaching it to the fuel vapor pipe of the Fuel Level Sensor while using a clamp for mounting. Begin the installation by attaching the fuel return line quick-connect and the fuel feed line quick-connect to matching pipes on the Fuel Level Sensor and then complete with an electrical connector to the Fuel Level Sensor. Reinstall the Fuel Tank as it belongs to the vehicle.
