Begin by removing the clutch release shaft return spring from the clutch release shaft fork and afterward extracting the clutch Release Bearing pin from the transaxle input shaft. Remove the clutch Release Bearing from the transaxle input shaft while avoiding solvent use due to possible damage to bearing seals; opt for a solvent-free dry cloth for cleaning. A solvent-free dry cloth should be used for cleaning purposes. Check the clutch Release Bearing for outside damage before testing its smooth rotation ability. Replace the bearing if damage exists or if it fails to rotate correctly.
