Begin front floor console replacement by first taking out the front floor console trim plate then disconnect the wiring harness connector and retainer. Open the storage compartment in the front floor console then remove the mat from inside. Start by removing storage compartment bottom bolts and front floor console bolts which are situated in front of shift control lever then extract the front floor console. Install the front floor console by adding the front floor console bolts in positions forward of the shift control lever then at the storage compartment's bottom edge then tighten them to 12 N.m (106 lb in). The process ends with storage compartment mat reinstallation followed by front floor console storage compartment closure and wiring harness connector reattachment and front floor console trim plate installation.
