  A: Starting Fuel Filler Hose replacement requires programmers to eliminate the Fuel Tank filler housing body torx(r) screws and pushpin retainer and then detach the Fuel Tank filler housing bolts from the Fuel Tank fill pipe. Start the replacement process by removing the Fuel Tank filler housing after raising and supporting the vehicle at waist level. The replacement of the fuel fill pipe ground wire requires starting by removing its bolt and separating the ground wire anti-rotation tab from the frame hole. Proceed with repositioning the Fuel Tank fill pipe ground wire followed by the chassis harness ground wire and then detach the rear axle vent hose from its clip on the fuel fill pipe bracket. Remove the Fuel Tank fill pipe by first relaxing its clamp at the Fuel Tank then disconnecting the recirculation line from the sending unit. Secure a Fuel Tank cap on the opening to avoid contamination. The first step for installation involves taking off the cap from the Fuel Tank opening then installing the Fuel Tank fill pipe while reattaching the sending unit recirculation line. Install the rear axle vent hose to its clip on the fuel fill pipe bracket followed by closing the clip after tightening the Fuel Tank fill pipe clamp at the Fuel Tank to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). The position of the Fuel Tank fill pipe ground wire and chassis harness ground wire allows you to install the ground wire anti-rotation tab into the frame hole before securing the ground wire bolt with a torque of 9 n.m (80 lb in). Lower the vehicle while installing the Fuel Tank filler housing by securing its bolts to the Fuel Tank fill pipe and tightening them at 2.3 n.m (20 lb in). For the Fuel Tank filler housing installation use torx(r) screws along with pushpin retainers and tighten them to 2.3 n.m (20 lb in).
