Loosen the fuel tank fill pipe clamp at the fuel tank and disconnect the recirculation line from the sending unit before removing the fuel tank fill pipe.

Cap the openings to avoid contamination.

Disconnect the fuel and evaporative emission (EVAP) quick connect fittings and cap the fuel feed and EVAP pipes to prevent contamination.

Raise and support the vehicle halfway.

Tighten them to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in).

First, relieve the fuel system pressure.

Install the fuel tank filler housing and the bolts connecting the housing to the fuel tank fill pipe, tightening them to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in).

Connect the fuel tank EVAP line quick connect fitting to the fuel tank module.
