Start by loosening the handle bolts then use the upper retainer tabs to pull off the handle bezel carefully. Begin by unscrewing both handle bolts followed by separating the linkage rods before completing the handle assembly's removal from the endgate. After placing the handle assembly onto the endgate install the handle bolts loosely. Safely align the linkage rods followed by handle bezel installation. End with a tight 25 N.m (18 lb ft) torque on the handle bolts according to the Fastener Notice.
