Install the hood release latch by connecting its cable end to the latch position and by restoring the hood ajar indicator switch connector if present according to installation guidelines. Position the Hood Latch on the radiator support then install the two Hood Latch bolts loosely. Set the Hood Latch height properly to create a secure hood seal against front hood bumpers after which lift the hood to tighten the Hood Latch bolts at 9 n.m torque (80 lb in). Set the front hood bumpers to equal height with the top of the hood and replace the upper radiator support baffle.
