How to replace the alternator bracket on Chevrolet SSR?

Remove the generator and the Power Steering Pump as your first step, and then take off the generator bracket bolts to remove the bracket. Install the generator bracket at the beginning, being sure to stick to the fastener notice in service precautions. Following that, put in the generator bracket bolts and make sure they are tightened to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). In the end, replace the Power Steering Pump and the generator.
