Refrigerant oil with 525 viscosity should be applied to the new O-ring before installing the evaporator tube. The tube must be uncapped or unplugged for installation purposes. Begin by setting the A/C Orifice Tube inside the evaporator tube where you must place 525 viscosity refrigerant oil on the O-ring before inserting the short screen section of the new A/C Orifice Tube through the tube opening. Connect the evaporator tube using the fitting while tightening it to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). Complete the procedure by evacuating and recharging the system then inspecting all repaired component fittings with the Halogen Leak Detector (J 39400-A).
