Chevrolet Suburban 1500 Blend Door Actuator Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the Air Inlet Blend Door Actuator on Chevrolet Suburban 1500?
A: The process starts with instrument panel (IP) upper trim panel removal followed by IP lower trim panel removal and glove box assembly removal. Start by taking out the passenger side air bag and disconnecting the electrical connection from the air inlet actuator . The actuator removal begins with screw removal from the air inlet and concludes with extracting the actuator itself. Install the new air inlet actuator into position then fasten it via retaining screws until they reach 1.6 N.m (14 lb in). Reinstall the passenger side air bag later followed by the IP lower trim panel and glove box assembly before securing everything with the IP upper trim panel. Finish by connecting the electrical connector on the air inlet actuator. The inspection procedure should confirm that all systems are functioning correctly.
