    Q:
How to replace the right Blend Door Actuator on Cadillac Escalade ESV? Posted by Customer
    A:
The right air temperature actuator replacement begins by disassembling the I/P carrier followed by disconnecting the electrical connector from the actuator. The actuator extraction process starts by unscrewing its fasteners from the HVAC module assembly and carefully removing it from this housing. The new actuator requires placement into the HVAC module assembly before screw installation with 2 N.m (18 lb in) torque following Fastener Notice instructions in Service Precautions. Start by reinstalling the I/P carrier then reattach the electrical connector to the actuator. During the final stage of repair you must follow the actuator recalibration protocols to reprogram the air temperature actuator.
