The right air temperature actuator replacement begins by disassembling the I/P carrier followed by disconnecting the electrical connector from the actuator. The actuator extraction process starts by unscrewing its fasteners from the HVAC module assembly and carefully removing it from this housing. The new actuator requires placement into the HVAC module assembly before screw installation with 2 N.m (18 lb in) torque following Fastener Notice instructions in Service Precautions.
