How to replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor on Chevrolet Suburban 2500?

To change the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECT), switch OFF the ignition and tell the cooling system down to the ECT sensor level. Remove the ECT electrical connector and disconnect it from the bracket, after that, remove the ECT sensor. In installing, coat the threads of the new ECT sensor with the sealer P/N 9985253 or its equivalent, and tighten it to 20 N.m (15 lb ft). Next, secure the ECT electrical connector at the bracket and then connect the ECT harness connection to the ECT sensor. Finally, refill the cooling system.
