Chevrolet Trailblazer Window Channel Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the front door window channel assembly on Chevrolet Trailblazer?
A: The first step to change the front door window glass channel assembly involves taking out the door trim panel and speaker alongside the water deflector while also removing the window. Proceed by removing the 2 tightening bolts (Wrench) that maintain the channel to the door and gently pull the channel from the window frame opening. The channel needs to be carefully directed and pulled upwards for disconnecting from the top door frame before being removed from the door. You should position the new channel inside the door frame with the tabs securely fitting the slots followed by pressing it into the window opening. Screw in the 2 retaining bolts by tightening to 10 n.m (88 lb in), and reinstall the window, water deflector, speaker followed by the door trim panel.
