How to replace the starter motor on Chevrolet Traverse?

To replace the Starter motor, the first step to disconnect the negative Battery Cable. Then, take out the left Catalytic Converter and then you are to remove the Starter heat shield bolt and shield. And then remove the Starter solenoid bat terminal nut and battery positive junction block cable terminal from the Starter. Remove the Starter bolts and disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the Starter in order to pull out the Starter. First, install the Starter and bolts; tighten them to 50 nm (37 lb ft). Join the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the Starter and connect the battery positive junction block cable terminal and the Starter solenoid bat terminal nut and tighten the nut to 25 nm (18 lb ft). Replace the Starter heat shield and bolt screwed and tight at 7 nm (62 lb in), then the left Catalytic Converter. Lastly, reconnect the negative cable of the battery.
