How to replace the PG260 F1 starter motor on Buick Rendezvous? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the pg260 f1 Starter motor includes disconnecting the black ground cable from the battery. The vehicle needs to be elevated before technicians remove the radiator air baffle assembly from its position. Start by removing the electrical leads and terminal nut from the Starter motor bat side then move on to the s terminal with its electrical lead and terminal nut following removal. Start by removing both the torque converter cover and the Starter motor bolts so you can extract the Starter motor. Install the Starter motor while keeping it in position before tightening Starter motor bolts to 47 n.m (35 lb ft). First you should install the torque converter cover and afterward join the s terminal electrical lead with its corresponding nut. Tighten the nut to 3 n.m (27 lb in). Join the Starter motor bat terminal electrical leads but maintain a 10 n.m (89 lb in) torques on the nut. After reinstalling the radiator air baffle assembly take down the vehicle and reconnect the battery ground (negative) cable to the battery.

How to replace the starter motor on Chevrolet Malibu? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable then supporting the raised vehicle throughout the process. The operation requires removal of the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the generator control module coolant pump while also undoing the generator control module coolant pump bolt. Secure the generator control module coolant pump including its hoses to a safe position after extracting it from underneath the Oil Pan. Disconnect both engine wiring harness electrical connector from the Starter and use an open-end wrench to remove the positive Battery Cable to Starter motor nut and the positive Battery Cable lead from the Starter motor. Starting with bolt removal from the Starter motor then remove the Starter itself. Begin by installing the Starter with its bolts then secure them using 53 n.m (39 lb ft) torque. Secure the positive Battery Cable lead onto the Starter motor before tightening the positive Battery Cable to Starter motor nut to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Secure the generator control module coolant pump while disconnected from the electrical connector of the engine harness so you can reposition it toward the Oil Pan where its anti-rotation tab fits into the Oil Pan hole.
