How to replace the starter motor (LE5) (2.4L Non Hybrid) on 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?

Disconnect the negative Battery Cable in order to change the Starter motor (LE5) (2.4L Non Hybrid). After that, lift and support the vehicle. Unplug the s terminal connector from the Starter Solenoid after plugging the engine harness lead out of impulse Starter. Now unfasten the positive Battery Cable nut from the Starter Solenoid and pull the positive Battery Cable and engine harness terminal from the Starter Solenoid. Then unscrew the Starter motor bolts and pull out Starter motor. For installation, you can start by installing the Starter motor, make sure that you install the Starter motor bolts but tighten them up to 40 nm (30 lb ft). Then attach the engine harness terminal and positive Battery Cable to the Starter Solenoid and then attach the positive Battery Cable nut and tighten it to 10 nm (89 lb in). Next, connect the engine harness lead to the Starter and the s terminal connector to the Starter Solenoid. Reduce the vehicle and reconnect the negative Battery Cable nyevt.
