How to replace the positive battery cable (LZ7) on 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?

The starting process to replace the battery positive cable (LZ7) requires first disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. The first step requires users to disconnect the positive cable from the battery and follow by loosening the bolt at the junction block. The first step requires battery tray clip removal from the positive cable and the disassembly of negative cable tape securing it to the positive terminal. After raising and supporting the vehicle you can remove the positive Battery Cable nut from the Starter Solenoid and the cable itself. Start the installation of the new positive cable through starter and battery connections after vehicle position is lowered. Follow the same method while raising the vehicle to attach the positive cable to the Starter Solenoid and tighten the positive cable nut to 13 nm (115 lb in). Pull up the vehicle once again and fasten the positive cable to the junction block while tightening its bolt at 10 nm (89 lb in). Affix battery tray clips on said cables then fasten negative cable endings to positive cable endings through adhesive tape before clamping the positive cable onto the battery terminal and tightening its bolt to 17 nm (13 lb ft). Reestablish the connection of the negative Battery Cable in its final step.
