How to replace the outlet radiator hose (LX9) on Buick Rendezvous? Posted by Customer
    A:
The cooling system drainage process is needed before initiating Radiator outlet hose (LX9) replacement. You should use hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to release the hose clamp tension at the Water Pump while the clamp locks into position before pulling the Radiator outlet hose from the Water Pump. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) need to be used to unlock the hose clamp at the Radiator. To start the Radiator outlet hose replacement disconnect the retainer at the cooling Fan Shroud then remove the hose from the Radiator. The Radiator outlet hose must be placed onto the Radiator followed by using a small flat-bladed screwdriver to release the retention lock on the hose clamp at the Radiator. Hook up the Radiator outlet hose retainer on the cooling Fan Shroud then connect the hose to the Water Pump. First detach the hose clamp retention lock at the Water Pump with a small flat-bladed screwdriver before adding coolant and ending with air cleaner assembly installation.
