    A: The left engine mount strut replacement process starts by disassembly of the engine mount strut bolt and nut at the left engine mount strut bracket on the engine followed by the engine mount strut bolt and nut at the engine mount strut bracket on the upper radiator support before removing the engine mount strut. Thoroughly inspect the engine mount strut rubber for signs of hardness and splits as well as cracks. Reinstall the engine mount strut where the engine mount strut bracket locates on the upper radiator support and tighten the engine mount strut bolt to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) before installing the engine mount strut at the left engine mount strut bracket on the engine with the bolt and nut while securing the engine mount strut nut to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
