  To work to replace the steering interm, it is advisable first to use a strap to fix the Steering Wheel so that it does not rotate as attempting to lock the Steering Column is what is necessary to avoid damages and their possible sir systems malfunction. Before taking the Steering Column, intermediate shaft, and steering gear, make sure that the Steering Wheel is both straight forward and locked. After removing these components, do not move the front tires and wheels in order to avoid misaligning in the installation process. Start with unlatching the intermediate Steering Shaft boot from the steering gear and upper seal, then unfasten the intermediate Steering Shaft bolt and remove the shaft from the steering gear. Next, the left side instrument panel insulator panel will be removed, followed by the removal the intermediate Steering Shaft bolt located at the steering columna, detached of the intermediate Steering Shaft and then separating the upper seal from its position. It is necessary to spread out the new or discarded intermediate Steering Shaft both ends while the vehicle is out to make installation easier. Mount the intermediate Steering Shaft, from inside the vehicle and ensure that you follow the fastener notice. Mount the intermediate Steering Shaft at the Steering Column, fix it with intermediate Steering Shaft bolt and mount back the upper seal tighten the bolt to 22 n.m (16 lb ft). Put back the left side instrument panel insulator panel, and attach to the steering gear to the intermediate Steering Shaft by fixing it with the intermediate Steering Shaft bolt which must be tightened to 22 n.m (16 lb ft). Lastly, do not tear the intermediate Steering Shaft boot while sealing it back in the same position it was removed, and later attach the boot to the steering gear and the upper seal.
