How to replace the water pump on GMC Acadia?

Removing the Water Pump starts with draining the cooling system and unwinding the Drive Belt. The en 46104 Water Pump Pulley holding tool enables safe Water Pump Pulley maintenance while you loosen and remove Water Pump bolts and the pulley itself. First take out all Water Pump bolts before removing the old Water Pump and discarding the worn Water Pump seal. Prepare all Water Pump sealing points by cleansing them thoroughly before adding a fresh Water Pump seal and Water Pump. Fit the Water Pump bolts at 10 n.m (89 lb in) then put in the Water Pump Pulley with its bolts but keep using en 46104 tool to hold the pulley during bolt tightening at 10 n.m (89 lb in). Reposition the Drive Belt after putting the water in the cooling system.
