How to service the Back Up Light Switch on GMC C2500?

The back up lamp switch servicing will begin once you elevate the vehicle. First remove the back up lamp switch electrical connector before uninstalling the back up lamp switch. Before installation of the back up lamp switch make sure to apply thread sealant which is already present before tightening the switch to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Next, fasten the back up lamp switch electrical connector while putting the vehicle into lower position.
