  A: The service and repair process starts by positioning suitable safety stands underneath the vehicle to support it during the operation. Additionally, the vehicle needs to be elevated with adequate tools to free up the tension from leaf springs on the rear axle. The service requires the spring nut removal while a user loosens it and proceeds to take off the shackle from the rear bracket bolt, nut, washers before cleaning out the spring nut and washers with bolt and shackle from the vehicle. The installation sequence begins with putting the shackle on the vehicle but avoiding fastener tightening until all parts have been properly positioned.
