The installation process starts with disconnecting the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor from its engine harness electrical connector before removing all securing screws to extract the sensor. To install the new Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor position it and fasten it with screws that should be tightened to 0.6 n.m (5 lb in) as per the fastener notice. The last step involves reconnecting the engine harness electrical connector back to the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor.
