Apply engine oil to your new rings before installing the regulator seal back up ring followed by the regulator seal upper o-ring and the regulator assembly filter and completing with the regulator seal lower o-ring. Position the vacuum tube downwards while inserting the regulator into the retainer clip and complete installation of the Fuel Pressure Regulator retainer clip. After reinstalling the upper manifold component set the negative battery connection in place. Perform a leak check by enabling the ignition system with the engine in off position for 2 seconds then disabling it for 10 seconds followed by another ignition turn-on with the engine inactive and verify fuel leakage. Finally, install the engine cover.
