Begin Lash Adjuster replacement by removing the lower Intake Manifold. Start by removing the valve rocker arms alongside the valve pushrods after which you can proceed with the lash adjusters. Using cleaning solvent and shop towels to remove varnish from Lash Adjuster bores leads to bore inspection for excessive wear or scoring and possibly resulting in engine block replacement. Inspect the Camshaft for wear and damage while checking for any damage. Before any judgment on the Camshaft wear's ambiguity remove that component for investigation. Check and clean both the lash adjusters and valve Pushrod guide after inspection. The new adjusters will produce a minimal ticking noise during your vehicle's first startup. Noise should disappear when you increase engine rpms just enough to boost oil pressure. After installing the lash adjusters you should put in the valve rocker arms and pushrods then reinstall the lower Intake Manifold.
