A: The Radiator replacement starts with draining the cooling system followed by lower Fan Shroud removal. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) helps users change the Radiator inlet hose clamp position before removing the inlet hose from the Radiator. The outlet hose clamp requires removal using hose clamp pliers (J 38185). Safely detach transmission oil cooler and engine oil cooler lines from the Radiator before you start moving the coolant recovery reservoir hose clamp and unhooking the reservoir from the Radiator filler neck. First remove the grille and afterward delete the 4 bolts which secure the A/C Condenser to the Radiator before relocating the condenser to remove the Radiator. Install the new Radiator by securing it with the 4 A/C Condenser bolts then tighten them to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). Reinstall the grille then install the coolant recovery reservoir hose toward the Radiator filler neck while clamping the hose with a clamp. Screwing the engine oil cooler lines into place and transmission oil cooler lines should begin first before connecting the Radiator inlet hose while using hose clamp pliers (J 38185) for clamp placement. The Radiator outlet hose installation requires the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to reposition the outlet hose clamp before fitting the lower Fan Shroud into its place. Finally, fill the cooling system.
