  Start work on Valve Stem Oil Seal by taking off the valve Rocker Arm cover and then removing the needed valve rocker arms and Spark Plugs. Fit the j 22794 Spark Plug port adapter into the Spark Plug hole while attaching a compressed air hose. Then use pressure to keep the valves fixed in their positions. Insert a bolt through a valve Rocker Arm and place a flat washer on the bolt before installing the bolt through the valve rocker bolt position where valve spring service is needed. When you operate a valve spring compressor handle the high tension carefully because the valve springs shoot out forcefully. Using the j 5892-d valve spring compressor you should put the slotted end under the washer on the valve Rocker Arm bolt with steady pressure until you reach the valve keys. Use the j 38606 valve spring compressor jaws to secure the valve spring parts completely to avoid slipping and valve damage when installing. Replace the valve spring when scratching occurs. You need to replace the j 5892-d tool with the j 38606 if it does not fit the application. Unplug the valve keys while extending the valve spring tension and take out the j 5892-d or j 38606 before the valve spring cap and spring. The installation process starts with setting the valve seals on the valve stem and placing the new valve spring beneath it before adding the valve spring cap at the top. Use the j 5892-d device to push down the valve spring until the j 38606 lock threads are activated. Place valve stem keys onto their seat using grease and carefully let spring pressure out while maintaining proper key position to protect engine components. Examine if the j 5892-d or j 38606 keys became loose then press the valve stem end gently with a plastic-faced hammer when needed. Replace the valve Rocker Arm cover along with the spark plugs and valve rocker arms after taking off the j 22794 component.
