Begin by taking out the battery together with the A/C Accumulator then follow by uninstalling the coolant recovery reservoir or surge tank. The first step requires disconnecting heater hoses from the Heater Core followed by right kick panel removal using gentle hinge pillar trim panel pull whereas attending to broken clips for replacement. Use screw retention to detach both right inner and outer air outlet ducts from the right knee bolster and the outer floor air outlet duct. Start by removing retaining screws from the heater case before using care to open the Heater Core access door for access to the retainers. Finally extract the retainers together with the Heater Core from the vehicle. Mount the new Heater Core into your vehicle through its retainers while using the procedure to close the access door. Replace the heater case screws first followed by installing the outer floor air outlet duct then the right inner and outer outlet ducts and finally the screw retainer. Establish the correct fitment of the hinge pillar trim panel before securing the right kick panel while engaging the retaining clips. Install the Heater Core hoses to the heater system while putting back the A/C Accumulator and battery.
