Drain all cooling fluid before you replace an outlet
Radiator hose on 4.8l, 5.3l and 6.0l engine vehicles. The air cleaner outlet duct requires clamp loosening at both
Throttle Body and sensor locations before removing the Radiator inlet hose clamp from the outlet duct and the air cleaner outlet duct. The outlet hose replacement process begins with loosening and removing the clamp at the
Water Pump before extracting the Water Pump hose. Then continue by loosening and removing the Radiator clamp and removing the Radiator hose. To install begin with setting the outlet hose at the Radiator position before securing the outlet hose clamp at that location. Begin outlet hose installation at the Water Pump before clamping down the outlet hose at its position. The air cleaner outlet duct installation requires proper alignment of its Throttle Body end arrow toward the attaching stud followed by duct installation. Secure the Radiator inlet hose clip onto the outlet duct before tightening all air cleaner outlet duct clamps to 4 nm (35 inch lbs.) at both the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor. Finally, fill the cooling system.
