How to replace the cellular and navigation antenna assembly on GMC Sierra 3500?

In order to remove the cellular and navigation antenna assembly, you should first drop the headliner. Remove the cables from the antenna and back off the retaining nut until the antenna assembly can be pulled from the top of the roof. Then, seat the antenna assembly onto the roof opening and tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in), adhering to the fastener notice in service precautions. Secure the antenna, attach the antenna cables and re-Install the headliner.
