Start by taking out both transmission support frame nuts and bolts for all vehicles including pickups and utilities and the bravada and zr2 models before extracting the transmission support. The first step for installation involves returning the transmission support to its original position. When reinstalling the transmission support to the frame nuts for zr2, bravada and pickups and utilities maintain a torque of 54 n.m (40 lb ft). Fasten the catalytic converter hanger bracket to the transmission support while tightening its bolts to 17 n.m (13 lb ft). Let the transmission mount return to the transmission support stud nuts before tightening these fasteners to 45 n.m (33 lb ft). Lower the vehicle after reattaching the disconnected transmission wiring harness to the transmission support and removing the transmission jack.
