    Q:
How to replace the windshield wiper arm on Chevrolet Uplander? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by opening and supporting the hood before disconnecting the washer hose from the front washer pump hose. Take off both the nut cover and Wiper Arm nut . Start by using the Wiper Arm puller (J 39637) to disconnect the Wiper Arm from the wiper system module. Next remove the Wiper Blade from its connection with the Wiper Arm. Install the Wiper Blade onto the Wiper Arm then put the Wiper Arm tightly onto the shaft. Position the Wiper Blade tip at the horizontal mark on the windshield within blackout area a or b. After keeping the Wiper Arm in position the torque tool needs a tightening force of 30 n.m (22 lb ft) applied to the Wiper Arm nut. Install both components and secure the washer pump hose connection. After placing the Wiper Blade correctly on the arm you should test if the wipers work well.
