How to replace the Leaf Spring Bushing on Chevrolet Silverado 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Initial things to do to change the Leaf Spring Bushing include first raising and supporting the vehicle. Secondly, you need to take the Leaf Spring assembly out of the car. Then, insert the Leaf Spring in the press and press the bushing out being careful to clean the spring bushing bore of any foreign or old bushing material. Avoid exposing it to oil. For installation, apply rubber lubricant on the bushing and spring eye and reinstall the Leaf Spring to the press and press the bushing into the spring. Finally, reinstall the Leaf Spring assembly on the vehicle, take away the safety stands, and take down the vehicle.
