Take note of the distance between the bushing flange and the bracket before removing the bushing, since this will guide the depth of installing the new bushing. Use the ball j 41805 ball joint remover/installer (J 41805 to take off the rear bushing. For installation, re-apply the use of the J 41805 Ball Joint Remover/Installer (J 41805) to install the rear bushing, with attention paid to the destined measurement as recorded previously. Finally remove and reinstall the lower Control Arm and the front drive axle if equipped.

    Before starting with front lower Control Arm Bushing replacement it's essential to disassemble the front drive axle when present. Remove the lower Control Arm after completing step one. Before you remove the bushing take a measurement of the bushing flange's distance to its bracket. This measurement will help you establish the proper installation length for the new bushing. Use the ball joint remover/installer (J 41805) as an instrument to sunset the rear bushing. Use the ball joint remover/installer (J 41805) to place the rear bushing correctly in the specified measurement noted during the previous step. Reposition both the lower Control Arm and the front drive axle when finished.
