Begin Antenna cable replacement by disassembling the right front door sill plate and right hinge pillar trim panel and instrument panel compartment door. First disconnect the radio Antenna cable from the extension cable while removing the grommet from the hinge pillar's outbound direction. An Antenna cable holder must fasten to the cable before removing the Antenna mast and screws which fasten the Antenna base. After removing the grommet with its attached cable and moving through a routing hole, carefully extract the Antenna cable from the vehicle while keeping the mechanics wire in position for later installation. When installing the system begin by attaching the mechanics wire to Antenna cable's end before pulling on the wire to direct both components through the hinge pillar. First tighten all Antenna base screws to 7.5 n.m (66 lb in) torque before attaching the Antenna mast. Join the Antenna cable to the extension cable after installing the grommet onto the hinge pillar and removing the mechanics wire from the Antenna cable. Completion of the install requires putting back the i/p compartment door followed by reinstalling the right hinge pillar trim panel and right front door sill plate.

Start by removing the right front door sill plate followed by uninstalling the right hinge pillar trim panel before unlocking and removing the instrument panel compartment door. Disassemble the radio Antenna cable from the extension cable before carefully extracting the grommet from its position in the hinge pillar through the outbound direction. The mechanics wire requires attachment to the Antenna cable before removing the Antenna mast and then securing the Antenna base with screws. Pull both grommet and cable from their routing hole on the vehicle and extract the Antenna cable so only the mechanics wire remains in place for future assembly. When installing the system guide the Antenna cable through the hinge pillar with the help of mechanics wire that attaches to the end of the cable. The Antenna base installation requires screws that reach 7.5 nm (66 lb in) torque tightness before installing the Antenna mast. After you detach the mechanics wire from the Antenna cable you should install the grommet to the hinge pillar before joining the radio Antenna cable to the extension cable. To finish up the installation you must add the i/p compartment door together with the right hinge pillar trim panel along with the right front door sill plate.

Attach a mechanics wire to the end of the coax cable, detach the coax cable retainer from the hinge pillar, grasp the cable, and pull upward to release the retainer from the hinge pillar, then pull upward to remove the cable from behind the I/P, leaving the mechanics wire behind.

Disconnect it from the extension cable.

Lower the I/P compartment door fully and disconnect the digital receiver extension cable from the receiver.

Reinstall the radio.

Remove the antenna mast, followed by the screws retaining the antenna base.

Lower the front portion of the headliner.

Connect the radio extension antenna cable and close the I/P compartment door.

Disconnect the radio extension antenna cable and remove the clip that retains the extension cable before taking the cable out of the vehicle.

Disconnect the radio extension antenna cable, remove the clip retaining the extension cable, and then take the cable out of the vehicle.
