Starting the front and rear door window channel replacement requires separating the door trim panels and water deflectors for access to the window channel retainers. To access the front door window channel start by taking off the window assembly followed by removing bolts from the upper retainer before detaching it. The door replacement starts by removing the lower window channel retainer bolt followed by upward movement of the disengaged retainer so you can take it out. To perform installation push on the lower window channel retainer until the hook engages then install the bolt onto the retainer before tightening it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Begin by seating the outboard seal lip of the upper window channel retainer on the front door applique followed by seating the inboard seal carrier on the weld flange before installing the bolts to the upper retainer then torquing them to 2 N.m (18 lb in). The procedure concludes by reattaching the front door window assembly with both water deflector and trim panel. Installation of the rear door window demands the same method for window assembly and channel retainer setup while prompt bolt torques should match specific numbers.

Reinstall the water deflector, trim panel, and door trim panel.
