The first step requires you to undo the power window motor retaining rivets before removing the power window motor assembly from the vehicle but maintain the motor's and actuator's connection because separate replacement parts do not exist. The power window motor assembly installation requires putting the assembly back into its vehicle position followed by replacement of new power window motor retaining rivets. After reattaching the electrical connector to the power window motor new rivets should be used to reinstall the door trim panel.
