    Q:
How to replace the A/C Condenser on Chevrolet Colorado? Posted by Customer
    A:
You need the following tools to replace an air conditioning condenser: halogen leak detector (J 39400-A). Halogen leak detector (J 39400-A). The replacement process starts with Radiator removal until the equipment can recover refrigerant. The removal sequence begins with the receiver dryer followed by detachment of the condenser inlet hose bolt and the inlet hose. Next proceed to remove the two bolts securing the condenser outlet hose along with both outlet and inlet hoses. Pull the condenser out of its Radiator mounts before completely removing it. When you replace the condenser unit use the correct amount of refrigerant oil as described. Place the new condenser onto the Radiator and transfer needed components from your previous condenser. When installing the condenser into Radiator mounts utilize a torque tightener up to 28 nm that corresponds to 21 lb ft. Install the receiver dryer first then connect the condenser inlet hose along with its bolt which should be tightened to 20 nm (15 lb ft). Fasten and tighten the condenser outlet hose with its bolt to 20 nm (15 lb ft). Reinstallation of the Radiator should be followed by a/c system evacuation and recharging and a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) inspection of fittings.

What Tools Are Required to Replace the A/C Condenser on GMC Canyon? Posted by Customer
    A:

The Radiator goes back into position followed by an evacuation and recharge of the a/c system before a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) checks for any fitting leaks.
