    Q:
How to replace the air hose for the air cleaner resonator outlet duct on Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
The installation process starts by releasing the air cleaner outlet duct clamps at the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor followed by the duct removal from the Throttle Body. Start by deleting the hose clamp on the radiator inlet from the outlet duct before extracting the air cleaner outlet duct. The installation process starts with installing the new air cleaner outlet duct which connects to the Throttle Body before reaching the maf/iat sensor. Secure the radiator inlet hose clamp onto the outlet duct as you apply tension evenly to air cleaner outlet duct clamps up to 4 n.m (35 lb in).

    Q:
How to replace the air hose for the air cleaner resonator outlet duct on Chevrolet Silverado 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Users should begin replacement of the air cleaner resonator outlet duct by first using tools to loosen the clamp and separating the outlet duct from the maf/iat sensor then using the tools again to loosen the clamp while detaching the duct from the Throttle Body. Start by detaching the radiator inlet hose clamp on the outlet duct before removing the air cleaner outlet duct. The replacement process begins with duct installation where you first connect the new air cleaner outlet to the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor followed by reattachment of the outlet duct to the radiator inlet hose clamp. Follow the fastener notice in service precautions while securing the air cleaner outlet duct clamps at 4 n.m (35 lb in).

    Q:
How to replace the air hose resonator outlet duct on GMC Sierra 3500 Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by taking out the intake manifold sight shield and follow this by removing the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) line attached to the air cleaner outlet duct. Next remove the radiator inlet hose clamp retainer and the radiator vent inlet hose retainer which are attached to the outlet duct. You need to loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp both at the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor and the Throttle Body clamp. Using a flat screwdriver lift the air cleaner outlet duct over the resonator tab to remove it from the intake manifold stud. Once detached remove the duct from the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor. When installing the air cleaner outlet duct you should attach it to the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor but ensure the resonator tab correctly positions against the intake manifold stud. Tighten the clamp at both the maf/iat sensor and Throttle Body to 4 n.m (35 lb in) while pressing down on the duct where it covers the resonator tab. Reinstall the radiator vent inlet hose retainer, the radiator inlet hose clamp retainer, the pcv line to the air cleaner outlet duct, and the intake manifold sight shield.
