    Q:
How to service the A/C Switch control assembly on Chevrolet Corvette? Posted by Customer
    A:
The hvac control assembly requires a service beginning with removal of the front floor kick-up panel in addition to the ip electrical center cover. Next, take out the hvac con (HVAC controls) mini Fuse(R) #27 from the ip electrical center and remove the ip accessory trim plate. The hvac control head can be unscrewed for access to pull the HVAC Control Module out from the ip center support bracket which reveals electrical and vacuum connectors. First disconnect electrical connectors then vacuum harness connectors from the HVAC Control Module before removing the device from the vehicle. To install the hvac control system connect the vacuum harness connectors to the module first and then connect the electrical connectors . Place the module into the designated spot and secure the control head to the ip center support bracket. Install the HVAC Control Module retaining screws, tightening them to 1.9 n.m (17 lb in), then reinstall the ip accessory trim panel, the hvac con (HVAC controls) mini Fuse(R) #27 into the ip electrical center, the cover to the ip electrical center, and finally the front floor kick-up panel.

    Q:
How to replace the HVAC control module on Chevrolet Corvette? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the HVAC Control Processor, start by removing the IP lower insulator panel RH. The blower motor electrical connector and the blower control module electrical connector are to be disconnected. Loosen the two front retaining screws of the blower control module (located nearest the dash mat) 5 mm (0.197 in), as the module is slotted at those points. Next, unbolt the rear retaining screw for the blower control module and tilt down its rear part to pull it out of the vehicle. For installation, fit the position of the blower control module forward retaining slots to the forward retaining screws, align and seat to the HVAC module, and install rear retaining screw. Make sure to tighten the retaining screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in) and recover the blower motor and blower control module electrical connectors. Finally, reinstall the IP lower insulator panel - RH.
