    First, remove the grille assembly to replace the Transmission Oil Cooler on 4l80-e/4l85-e. Next, unscrew the Transmission Oil Cooler hoses from the Oil Cooler, then there was removal of the Oil Cooler bolts and push pins. Following this, extract the Oil Cooler from the car. For installation, the Oil Cooler slides back into position and bolts to the radiator brace, and that should be tightened to 12 nm (106 inch lbs.). Then, locate the push pins to the radiator brace, the Transmission Oil Cooler lines to the Oil Cooler, and finally, remount the grille assembly.
